For Reiki attunement one has to undergo 3 degrees. The initial degree helps the student to create and enable the flow of energy. The second degree introduces him to the Reiki symbols and their significance. The third one is the final stage where the person is offered master’s degree after which he or she becomes a Reiki master. After this stage a person can become practitioner and also help the others in attunement.
Just reading articles about Reiki and watching pictures do not teach anyone how Reiki is performed. One has to undergo proper training and exercises to learn the real sense of Reiki. It is essential to learn how the energy is concentrated, stored and then transmitted to people living far and near. Crown chakra, the one present in the tip of the head is responsible to store and let in more energy.
