Reiki Treatment

Reiki is a one of the healing techniques developed by a Japanese medical practitioner, Dr Mikao Usui. It is a remote healing process which is done by a Reiki master or Reiki practitioner. This technique is used to heal both physical and mental illness. The process requires no instruments or medicines except for 2 hands of the practitioner which disperses life energy into the recipient’s body. |

Reiki therapy cures all physical, emotional, spiritual and mental problems. The cure of any illness depends upon its intensity in a person. This therapy does not require big space or instruments. It is effective only if both the provider and the receiver have faith in each other and the receiver is attuned to it. |
Before the therapy begins the recipient is asked to lie down on a plain surface and relax by taking deep breath. Neither the practitioner nor the recipient speaks for few minutes so that the surroundings are calm and quiet. The practitioner then concentrated carefully and accumulates the life energy within him. He then gently positions his hands just above different parts of the patient‘s body to pass on the energy. The practitioner tries to find out the areas that require treatment either by scanning with hands or by intuition. Every session may last from 20- 45 minutes depending upon the patient’s requirement. |

There are chakras present in everyone’s body. These chakras are invisible ones which are spiritually present. They ensure the smooth and proper flow of energy inside the body. When the Reiki is performed on a person these chakras absorb energy and distribute it equally throughout the body. When the practitioner is performing the therapy it is natural to feel a strange tingling or tickly sensation. It is nothing but the Life Energy flowing in the body. |
|
To become a Reiki practitioner one has to clear 3 stages of the degree. First one involves the learning of attracting and transferring energy. The second degree involves learning of symbols and their significance. The third and final stage involves the offering of the honor- Masters. One is called as a Reiki Master after the completion of the third stage of the degree. |

Reiki symbols were once upon a time kept as a secret within the Reiki society. It was believed that the symbols contain energies which are very influential. They remained unknown to the outer world for a long time, but now they are seen in many places. Books and different sites on the internet are flooded with those symbols. Yet it is not the picture which matters but the power lying within it and the intention of the practitioner and the receiver matters in Reiki Treatment. |
